What is the Parent & Teen Life Mapping Workshop? One life-changing day!
Join your son(s) and/or daughter(s) in discovering life mapping tools. The life mapping process teaches you how to design a vision for your future and provides a system to create it.
The day will start with building a sturdy foundation cemented by identifying your beliefs, rules for life, and core-values.
Next, you’ll learn what it means to be optimally you on a day-to-day, and week-to-week basis. Learning to recognize when we’re not functioning our best allows us to ask for help when we need it.
Life mapping teaches that by focusing on things beyond ourselves, (not the latest cute Instagram selfie), we have an ability to significantly boost our sense of well-being, relieve anxiety, lower depression, and feel more fulfilled. An example of this is practicing gratitude, performing random acts of kindness, and lending a hand to others.
Once the foundation is established and the framing is complete, you’re ready to learn a system and structure for achieving your most ambitious goals.
The work of setting, categorizing, and prioritizing goals is followed by a step-by-step plan for intentional action to bring your goals to life.
Finally, you’re introduced to several techniques, based in neuroscience, to strengthen your vision while increasing your odds of success. Live Your Gift is endorsed by a Harvard Psychiatrist, Dr. Srini Pillay, for this very reason.
Dana V. Adams’s passion is life mapping! She will teach you, and your teen(s) the invaluable tools to help you set a course for your most desirable life.
Some of Dana’s most challenging days were during her teenage years. She cares about serving young adults because she remembers those days like they happened yesterday.
In a way, she’s positively re-living those years now because some of her four boys are still in this stage of their life; James 22, Trent 18, Gage 16, and Michael 15.
What better gift to give to your children as they continue to find their path. Middle school and high school are difficult for lots of teens. Why not give them a north star they can come back to again and again.
Everyone has a gift to offer the world; live mapping will help you discover it and live it.
